The three-chamber system with “euro” standard groove and groove is used in windows and balcony doors made of PVC or wooden profiles. It is dedicated to constructions with very high thermal requirements. The structural depth of profiles for frames is 78 mm, and for sashes 86 mm.
Thanks to multi-chamber thermal breaks (42 mm) and a two-component central gasket we can obtain high thermal insulation. In the PE78N Uf frame heat transfer coefficient equals 1,7 W/m2K. In a more insulated version PE78N+, with a closed glass chamber, the Uf value equals 1,3 W/m2K.
The system allows to use of a wide range of hardware and eases the mounting. Three-chamber profile construction of the PE78N system provides a large stiffness of profile, which allows for accomplishing constructions of large dimensions.
PE78N HI
A variant of the PE78N system intended for the construction of particularly high requirements for thermal insulation. Thanks to the special inserts there can be obtained very high thermal insulation.
In the more insulated PE78N HI version – with a closed glass chamber and insulating insert, the Uf frame heat transfer coefficient equals 0,9 W/m2K. In the most insulated (PE78N HI+) version – with a closed glass chamber and insulating insert made of aerogel, the frame heat transfer coefficient equals 0,7 W/m2K.
